I should mention that DayZ is the only game I experience issues with, and I play over 10 other games (Very old and very new games).Ī few years ago when I still lived with my parents, my dad could get this anti-virus/ firewall from his work for less money than straight from Symantec. I've heard that a system restore works, but I do not possess a proper date to be able to do so. Starting DayZ or Steam or both in admin doesn't make a difference. I've been coping with this problem for several weeks now.įull virus scan of several hours turned up with nothing. As far as I know, this program does not impact DayZ other than the video drivers. It notifies me when there's a new video driver, therefore it is always up to date. I update my video drivers through NVIDIA GeForce Experience, and only use the "Express installation". Thus disallowing me to actually join the server and play.

The game closes, I go to the desktop, and it starts up again by itself. When I join a server my game completely restarts without any message or notification. The game REstarts whenever I attempt to join a server. Updated BattlEye files in the game directory of DayZ. Cache verification and reinstallation both didn't work. From one day to the next, game didn't start anymore.
